Description
English: Commemorative plaque at the cemetery of Vaduz for the grave of physician and revolutionary politician Karl Schädler (1804–1872), who became the first president of the Landtag (parliament) of Liechtenstein, and of his three sons: Rudolf (1845–1930), who likewise became a physician and president of the Landtag, Albert (1848-1922), who became a historian and likewise president of the Landtag, and Carl (1850-1907), who became an engineer and a member of the Landtag. The plaque was donated by the municipality of Vaduz "in gratitude". It bears the inscription "WAHR UND UNGEZWUNGEN" ("true and unforced")
Deutsch: Gedenktafel auf dem Friedhof von Vaduz für das Grab des Arztes und Revolutionspolitikers Karl Schädler (1804–1872), der der erste Landtagspräsident von Liechtenstein wurde, und seiner drei Söhne: Rudolf (1845–1930), der ebenfalls Arzt und Landtagspräsident wurde, Albert (1848–1922), der Historiker und ebenfalls Landtagspräsident wurde, und Carl (1850–1907), der Ingenieur und Landtagsabgeordneter wurde. Die Gedenktafel wurde von der Gemeinde Vaduz „aus Dankbarkeit“ gestiftet. Sie trägt die Aufschrift „WAHR UND UNGEZWUNGEN“
