Jeļena Ostapenko defeated Daria Kasatkina in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Adelaide International.[1] With her run, Ostapenko returned to the top ten of the WTA rankings for the first time since September 2018.
Aryna Sabalenka and Belinda Bencic were the reigning champions from the first and second editions of the 2023 tournament, respectively, but neither returned to participate this year.[2] [3] [4]
