Thank you today for Can I Get It, "about Adele's song "Can I Get It". Several years after the chart-conquering success of "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)", Adele and producers Max Martin and Shellback connected again to create the most "pop" moment on her album 30. Despite the odd decision of not choosing it as a single, it performed like one and reached the top 40 in all major markets. With its moans and pop-rock influences, it certainly sticks out on the otherwise depressing album."! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:33, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you today for Thank You (Meghan Trainor album), "about Meghan Trainor's sophomore album, Thank You. It produced hits like "No" and "Me Too", which you may have heard on the radio or TikTok. There's an interesting backstory, as Trainor rewrote most of the album after her label rejected doo-wop material in the style of her previous one. The result was, well, "a bit of a hotchpotch" as one critic put it. Many reviewers thought Trainor lost her artistic identity, and sales were lower as well."! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:58, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you (lol) for the constant encouragement as well. This TFA was the correct way to celebrate MOTHER'S day I think.--NØ 01:06, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree! - today's story has a pic of a woman holding her cat, a DYK of 5 years ago - the recent pics show 2 orange tip butterflies --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:02, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Today's story mentions a concert I loved to hear and a piece I loved to sing in choir, 150 years old OTD. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:59, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

FAC/Peer[edit]

Hello again mate, I'm here regarding mentorship and preparation for FAC. I wish to get the article Tyla to FAC, but I do not know the necessary steps to follow. I really need your help Thank you in advance. I'll be on the lookout for your response. dxneo (talk) 01:30, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Happy to help out with this! I see it's GA-nominated already, which is a good start. Additionally, the article shouldn't use any sources not designated as high quality (WP:RSP is good help for this). First-time FACs face a source-text integrity spotcheck, so you should proofread it to make sure all information is clearly stated in the sources. Peer review, WP:GOCE, WP:RECEPTION, and WP:CINS are all good avenues to consult as well. First-time FACs are always hard and rigorous, but it is not completely impossible to get them to pass. Feel free to reach out for help with anything else.--NØ 15:07, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
