This information, if added to the article on the "zaqqum tree", would, of course, be viciously deleted by someone with NO Knowledge of the subject:

The "Tree of Life" in Genesis 3:24 is a symbol for the Vision of the "Son of man", symbolized in the Quran as both the "Night Journey" of Mohammed and the "sidrah tree" of Sura 53.

On the other hand, the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" in Genesis 2:9 is symbolized by the "zaqqum tree" in the Quran.

The "Tree of Life" symbolizes the consciousness Created 'by and in the image of God' (Genesis 1:27)--this is the non-dualistic consciousness of the Eastern esoteric traditions--and the Sons of Light; whereas the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" symbolizes the 'fallen' consciousness--that is, the dualistic consciousness of the Eastern religions and philosophies--of the "self" and the 'thinker' and the Sons of Darkness.
