This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Basically the main issue (besides the overall CV-like prose) is that most references are about Mr.Manzoni's position vis-à-vis this or that, ie the articles are not about him, but about the broader situation in Mozambique. You need to have at least a couple more VOA-like entries describing his curriculum/career (and thus centered on him in corpore, not the country he is living in).

Good afternoon Superboilles! I edited the page according to your helpful edits-removed CV like language, added multiple more sources (not just press releases but articles directly about the author by Le Temps, Voa, DW and O Pais). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Envoy_of_the_Secretary-General I note Mirko Manzoni is the only PESG on this page without a wiki. Could you further help me get this published. To add: I have met but do not work with Mr Manzoni. UNfollower23 (talk) 08:22, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
